The Quarter is opening up
Helsinki Empire Centre revives to a new era. During the next years, the Tori Quarter will undergo significant changes with regard to opening new business spaces, passageways and inner courtyards as well as traffic arrangements and signposts.
During 2010 to 2013, the inner courtyards will be opened for city residents and the city offices will give room for new businesses on the street level. The facade entrances and windows will now be re-introduced and re-opened. Improving the lighting will promote the architecture and building facades and present visitors with spaces that are easy to take in.
Efforts in traffic arrangements and lighting improvements will make the Tori Quarter an atmospheric area ideal for pedestrian use.
